How big are the controls?

The FC-1T-2VAC-3F enclosure is 9 x 7 x 3.75 inches (23 x 18 x 9.5 cm). The heatsink adds an additional 1.25 inches (3.5 cm) to the width.

All other FC Series enclosures are 4.75 x 6.25 x 3.75 inches (12 x 15.6 x 9.5 cm). The mounting “feet” add an additional 1.55 inches (4.15 cm) to the height.

I need a new temperature sensor. Which one do I get?

The FC-1T-1VAC uses a Phason 20K sensor. All other FC Series controls use Phason 3K sensors. To see the sensor models and lengths available, check out our reference chart.

Are the relays replaceable?

The relays are replaceable in the FC-1T-2VAC-3F. We have packages of 5 available (model PKG-R52). The relays are not replaceable in the other FC Series controls.

Does the FC-1T-2VAC-3F control have an empty room mode?

Yes, there is the option to have ventilation off and only heat stages active. This is most often used when a room is empty and only needs to be kept from freezing. It also has multiple programs that you can use for different seasons or scenarios.

Are repair kits available?

The FC-1T-2VAC-1F has a display kit (model KDSP-1T-2VAC-3F) and control board kit (model KCON-1T-2VAC-3F). The other FC Series controls do not have repair kits.

Does the FC-1T-2VAC-3F have a manual override?

Yes, there is a manual override in the settings that you can use to test individual stages or to test the operation at different temperatures.

Can the FC-1T-1VDC control AC fans?

Yes, the FC-1T-1VDC can control variable speed fans using one of our FanDRIVE controls. The FC-1T-1VDC will provide a 0-10 V DC signal to the control, which will operate the fans. We have a FanDRIVE with one 14 FLA output (model FD-1-14) and one with two 7 FLA outputs (model FD-2-7).

Can the FC-1T-2VAC-3F control variable heaters?

No, the two variable stages are for cooling only. The three relay stages can control either cooling or heating.
