The FC-1T-2VAC-3F automatically controls the temperature in a room by operating two variable speed fans and up to three fixed -stage fans or heaters.

General

Is this compatible with the SEC-HD control?

Yes. The FC-1T-2VAC-3F is a direct replacement of the SEC-HD. The display kit KDSP-1T-2VAC-3F will work with an SEC-HD control board.

Can it control variable heaters?

No, the two variable stages are for cooling only. The three relay stages can control either cooling or heating.

Does the control have a manual override?

Yes, there is a manual override in the settings that you can use to test individual stages or to test the operation at different temperatures.

Does it control have an empty room mode?

Yes, there is the option to have ventilation off and only heat stages active. This is most often used when a room is empty and only needs to be kept from freezing. It also has multiple programs that you can use for different seasons or scenarios.

How big is the control?

The enclosure is 9 x 7 x 3.75 inches (23 x 18 x 9.5 cm). The heatsink adds an additional 1.25 inches (3.5 cm) to the width.

Installation

How do I configure my stages for heating or cooling?

Stages 3, 4, and 5 can be configured for either heating or cooling. Do this through the Configuration menu. See the user manual for step-by-step instructions.

Troubleshooting

Why doesn’t my ventilation turn on?

You may have ventilation turned off. See Enabling and disabling ventilation in the user manual.

Why does my variable fan stop running and hum at 80 percent output?

You may need to change your fan curve. You can do this through the configuration menu. See Configuring variable stages, parameters 19 and 20 in the user manual.
